The Tooradin Jetty

"There used to be a second shed here where Tourists would sit, but that is long gone" said Beryl Maddern.  The jetty was much longer back then and many can remember jumping off the end (at high tide of course).  During a King Tide the water can flow over the stoned edges onto the road.  You will often see fisherman fishing here.

This jetty has some sentimental value to Tony and Rochelle, owners of Tides, as it is where Tony got down on one knee in 2017 and proposed marriage on a warm and balmy early evening with a gorgeous sunset.  Rochelle was receiving treatment for breast cancer at the time so had no hair and was feeling a little worse for wear.
